On February 28, 2025, the BICES 2025 Media and User Symposium was successfully held in Beijing by the exhibition organizers . Mr. Su Zimeng delivered a keynote speech titled "Review of China  Construction Machinery Industry Development

in 2024 and Outlook for 2025."

He first emphasized that in 2024, the construction machinery industry strived to seize development opportunities, actively responded to changes in domestic and international market environments, overcame difficulties, and made proactive efforts. The industry's overall performance remained stable with steady progress, and high-quality development was solidly advanced.

He analyzed and reviewed the performance of China construction machinery industry in 2024 from six key aspects, including the steady operation of major economic indicators among key enterprises closely associated with CCMA; continued growth in construction machinery exports on a high base; overall stabilization in sales of the twelve major categories of construction machinery products; increased confidence and improved expectations among industry enterprises; the integrated development of technological and industrial innovation, accelerating the industry's transition toward high-end, intelligent, and green development; as well as major challenges and issues facing the sector etc.

In his speech, Mr.Su stated that the industry has gotten off to a good start in the first two months of 2025, with many companies achieving a strong opening performance. Looking ahead to the full year, as macro-control measures intensify and policy effects compound, favorable factors supporting the stable operation and high-quality development of the industry will continue to accumulate and increase. The development environment for the construction machinery industry is expected to steadily improve. Based on a comprehensive assessment, he predicts that the construction machinery industry in 2025 will continue to exhibit a stable and progressive development trend, with key economic indicators showing steady growth and foreign trade remaining generally stable.

Meanwhile, Mr. Su expressed gratitude to the extensive user community and media for their support and concern towards the development of the industry, the growth of the association, and BICES exhibition. Among the registered exhibitors, there is a notable presence of complete industrial chain enterprises, a concentration of headquarters and brands, expanded booth sizes, and the return of many previous exhibitors.

Increase in New Technologies, Products, Services, Methods, and Solutions: Aligned with the exhibition theme of "High-End, Green, and Smart Future," there will be a substantial increase in new technologies, products, services, construction methods, and solutions.

Progress in Concurrent Events and Activities: The organization of concurrent conferences and events is proceeding as planned, with over a hundred high-quality events expected to take place.

Comprehensive Invitation of Domestic and International Visitors: Efforts to invite visitors from both domestic and international markets are in full swing, and the international participation level of BICES 2025 is expected to further increase.
