On August 19, 2024, the press conference of China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines and Mining Machines Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as BICES 2025) was held in Beijing. Mr. Su Zimeng, Chairman of CCMA, for and on behalf of the show organizers, provided an outlook on BICES 2025 show, and briefly introduced the operation of China's construction machinery industry in the first half of 2024. Mr. Su Zimeng, Chairman of CCMA, delivered a keynote speech on "Analysis of the Construction Machinery Industry in 2024 and Prospects for BICES 2025"

Regarding the operation of the construction machinery industry in 2024, Su Zimeng stated that the industry actively responds to challenges and changes in the both domestic and international market environment. The overall economic operation of Chinese construction industry is stable, high-quality development is solidly promoted with fruitful achievements being made in high-end, intelligent, and green development. According to Mr. Su, it was expected that the overall economic operation of China construction machinery industry will continue to maintain a stable recovery and steady progress trend in the second half of 2024. In the long run, opportunities and challenges coexist in the development of the industry, while opportunities outweighing challenges. In general, Mr. Su believe that China construction machinery industry and market will show a stable and positive development trend.

Mr. Qi Jun Qi Jun, Honorary President and special Advisor of CCMA, delivered a keynote speech on "Successfully Hosting BICES 2025 and Serving the High-Quality Development of the Industry"

Mr. Qi provided a comprehensive review of BICES's history and shared his thoughts. He noted that BICES was established in 1989 and has successfully hosted 16 sessions. During this period, the industry has experienced both peaks and troughs, with total sales in the construction machinery industry growing from about 20 billion yuan to the current 900 billion yuan. This growth would not have been possible without the support and assistance of industry manufacturers, supporting companies, users, and media friends. Looking ahead, Qi Jun emphasized that the BICES organizing committee will continue to provide better services, making BICES an even stronger platform for supporting and leading industry exhibitions and exchanges, promoting industry progress, and making BICES a world-class, authoritative construction machinery industry event. Finally, Mr. Qi expressed his gratitude once again and hoped that all sectors of the industry would continue to support BICES, jointly promote its development, and enhance its value.

Mr. Wu Peiguo, Secretary-General of CCMA and President of BAICE, delivered a keynote speech on "Meticulous Organization to Successfully Host BICES 2025"

Mr. Wu, on behalf of the BICES organizing committee, introduced the situation of BICES 2023 and the preparations for BICES 2025. BICES 2023 attracted 1,320 exhibitors, with an exhibition area of 150,000 square meters. Over 150,000 professional visitors from more than 70 countries and regions attended, with more than 300,000 online and offline participants, and over 100 high-quality events were held. Numerous large-scale central construction enterprises and major customers visited the exhibition in groups, and more than 200 national and industry media outlets covered the event, which received widespread praise.

The theme of BICES 2025 is "High-end, Green, Smart and Future." In line with this theme, BICES 2025 will feature four major thematic exhibition zones: Green Development, National Heavy Equipment, High-end Supports and Intelligent and Industrial Internet, along with one outdoor exhibition area and thirteen specialized zones. Regarding the preparation for BICES 2025, Mr. Wu stated that the organizing and management team would fully leverage the five major advantages of BICES: industry advantage, regional advantage, exhibition venue advantage, brand advantage, and organizing advantage, to carefully plan and make every effort to do the following jobs:

Mr. Li Jianyou delivered a keynote speech on "Continuously Building a Green and High-end Display Platform for BICES Exhibition, Accelerating the Green Transformation and High-quality Development of the Construction Machinery Industry"

Mr. Li, Vice Chairman of CCMA and Chairman of Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality Working Committee of CCMA, introduced BICES 2025 Green Action Plan in his speech, stating that promoting the green transformation and upgrading of construction machinery and promoting high-quality development of the industry are important tasks of the committee.

The Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality Working Committee will fully leverage its role as an industry think tank, planning, and service provider for the green and low-carbon transformation and development of the industry. The committee will actively cooperate with the show organizers to continue setting up and building a green and low-carbon show area at BICES 2025, and organize relevant conferences, meeting and activities to provide exhibitors, users, and visitors with a platform for showcasing, exchanging, cooperating, and promoting green and low-carbon technologies, products, and applications.
